He can ride a chopper, coach basketball — at least in the movies — and in real life, Academy Award nominated actor Dennis Hopper is pretty good at poetry, too.
Hopper delighted the crowd at the theatrical G-Star Raw show at New York’s Fashion Week on Tuesday, strutting down the catwalk reciting Rudyard Kipling’s poem “If.”
Gracing the front row of the show of largely denim designs, which saw models crisscrossing the catwalk and also riding a conveyor belt down the middle, were actress Heather Graham and Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes of rock band Duran Duran.
Hopper was nominated for an Oscar in 1970 for Easy Rider and in 1987 for Hoosiers.
