It’s been months since Lindsay Lohan left a Utah rehab clinic, and since then she has been seen out in public and even posed nude for pictures as Marilyn Monroe for New York magazine. Yet, she has not said much of anything about her troubled 2007. In addition to three stints in rehab, Lohan was arrested twice for drunken driving and drug possession and served time in a Los Angeles jail — albeit only 84 minutes.
So when U.S. celebrity TV show “Entertainment Tonight”
sends out a press release saying they have an “exclusive interview” with Lohan, ears prick up around the newsroom. Problem is, Lohan, 21, doesn’t seem to have that much to say — at least, with any detail.
“I think everybody should just be who they are, and I am what I am,” she said, according to a transcript of the interview set to air on “ET” on Wednesday night.
“I’ve been doing this for so long, and I’ve grown up very fast. I have different responsiblities than (other) people have at my age, and it’s taken me time to recognize that,” she said. “I’ve gone through the phases that I’ve had to go through, so now I’m growing up and hopefully people are growing with me. I think that’s an important message to send, instead of trying to be someone else.”
So, then, one has to ask Lindsay: if you’re not trying to be someone else, why pose as Marilyn?

[...] Her children seem to be having a rough time, and I can’t help but wonder if this family needs a bit of private time. The same goes for Richards and her little girls. Should these mothers shut the door to the cameras? Do you think Kevin has become a more responsible parent? [...]
