George Clooney, one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, has dismissed rumors that hewas secretlyengaged to his girlfriendof about a year, Sarah Larson. The pair have becomea regular fixture at red carpet atindustryevents, and speculation on the seriousness of their relationship escalated when Clooney, 46,took Larson to the Oscars — the first time he had taken a girlfriend along. Butthe actordenied reports out of Europe that wedding bells were imminent.

“These reports are not true,” Clooney’sLos Angeles-based representative told Reuters.
