George Clooney, one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, has dismissed rumors that he had secretly gottenengaged to his girlfriendof about a year, Sarah Larson. The pair have becomea regular fixture and speculation on the seriousness of the relationship escalated when Clooney, 46,took Larson to the Oscars — the first time he had taken a girlfriend along. Butthe actordenied reports out of Europe that wedding bells were imminent.
Clooney’sLos Angeles-based representative told Reuters that the reports were not true.
And in case there really was any doubt, Clooney has laughed off reports that he is gay in an interview to appear in Esquire magazine’s April issue. He was asked if there was any truth to reports that he is “gay, gay, gay.” “No, I am gay, gay - the third gay, that was pushing it,” he said.
