Lindsay Lohan labels Sarah Palin a “homophobe”

After pop star Pink’s rant last week against Sarah Palin, Lindsay Lohan declares she can no longer keep biting her tongue when it comes to the most talked-about woman in American politics.
“Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe? “, asks Lohan, 22, in her MySpace blog.
The “Mean Girls” star says she is beset by “Fear, Anxiety, Concern, Disappointment, and Stress” the more she learns about the Alaska Governor and Republican vice-presidential candidate.
And what upsets her most are Palin’s views on gay rights, abortion and sex before 
marriage. “Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?” asks Lohan, whose own sexuality is currently the cause of much speculation given her close friendship with British DJ Samantha Ronson.
The blog is signed with an “xoxo” (love and hugs) from both Lindsay and Samantha, although Ronson reminds fans that as a non U.S, citizen she doesn’t have a vote on Nov. 4, but she is a bit worried about her green card.
Lohan’s not the first celebrity to plunge into politics and she won’t be the last. But her concerns about gay issues seem to have increased the closer she gets to Ronson although Lohan’s forthright opinions haven’t yet extended to coming clean to curious fans about the exact nature of their friendship.
So is Lindsay a lesbian or isn’t she? And does it matter?

This is odd, and scary for me to type…but I find myself agreeing with LiLo about Palin.
My only comment is that it is none of our business. Every adult is entitled to some private life, celebrity or not.
No-one should be hounded 24/7, as a lot of the people mentioned above have been.
I think it is pretty disgusting, and for the media – photographers etc, it’s pretty questionable in an ethical sense.
I personally think that every woman in the country should be scared by the thought of Palin as VP. As a woman I am startled and deeply concerned by Palin- I’ve said it before and I will say it again- I DO NOT TRUST ANY WOMAN WHO IS SO PRO LIFE THAT THEY DONT BELIEVE THAT ABORTION SHOULD BE LEGAL IN CASES OF RAPE AND INCEST- I personally had an abortion when I was 17 (it was not a case of rape or incest)it was a difficult decision, but it was the right one for me- and for any woman to say to other women that they shouldnt be able to make decisions about their own bodies is ludicris, offensive and desturbing. I have never pushed my pro choice views on anyone- but for a woman to say that Roe v Wade should be overturned makes me sick to my stomach- it makes me want to go and start shaking people who are pro life. I never thought I would say it, but Lindsey is on the right track with this one- Palin is a wretched human being and an absolute kook. She and McCain must be stopped!
I find it absurd to care what Lindsey Loghan says about a person with the credentials of Sarah Palin. Mrs. Palin hasn’t said anything derogatory about gays. Why does Lindsey despice a woman who loves life & believes it is sacred? What will the pro-abortion crowd say at the end of their lives?…Gee I’m so happy I voted for killing babies in the womb? So sad.
I believe that Lindsay Lohan is a very disrespectful person for making rude comments about the views of Sara Palin. Quite frankly, the credentials of Sara Palin and the knowledge of Lindsay Lohan are incomparable. Did Sara Palin ever say she disliked homosexuals? Why must celebrities repeatedly badmouth politicians about certain issues that are not relevant to the campaign? I see no problem in Palin’s views on abortion and fighting to keep the life of an innocent child. Yes, I understand that women should have the right to make decisions about their own body, but at the same time they should be making wise decisions. If women were given the right to have an abortion whenever they felt the need, then more women would take advantage of the law and more abortions would be requested. The only exception I would make to the abortion law is the case of a rape was involved, other than that I just cannot understand how people can support a cause that takes away a human life. I am surprised to see that Lindsay Lohan is not supporting a woman going into the vice presidential office. I believe that Palin going into office is a step towards a better future for women in politics.

Right, from the other side of the spectrum it’s just about as sad as members of the anti-abortion crowd demonstrating their absolute narrowmindedness by saying these things while keeping a straight face and with an aura of nauseating righteousness. The word ‘choice’ implies the freedom to make decisions for yourself. I think it is downright arrogant -not to say evil- for someone to want to obstruct/destroy another individual’s right to think and decide for him or herself, only because of twisted ethics or religious objections; not to mention the total lack of regard and compassion for someone’s personal and private situation. It’s the stuff these people indiscriminately should be going to their deepfrying hell for, that very same hell they wish upon anyone who stands opposed. Lucky for them that hell is for heroes, then.

Should not this child have a “right to think and decide for him or herself…” just like everyone else? If there are laws that exist to charge a person with manslaughter for killing an unborn baby then why shouldn’t an unborn baby have laws to protect his or her life until he or she is able to make a decision to keep his or her life?
Yes, Lindsay, Gay is a sin. According to the Bible. No, being straight will never be a sin. You seem to be very confused about the difference between “sin” and having rights. Having money doesn’t entitle you or anyone else to adjust the rules the Lord has set out in front of us. Obviously, sinning is something we all do, but removing all morals for fame & money isn’t an option for most of us.
since when the brat kid offered anything out of her mouth to be worthwhile enough to be repeated by LL her behavior is so bad that anything she says could or should be repeated! gay has nothing to do with it. i have come across many gay people even before in the clost gays were.are acceptable and i say “good for them!” ll is such a joke and a gigantic farce! Lindsay Lohan needs to keep her mouth shut. Like anyone is going to be persuaded by her comments about Sarah Palin. None of the stars are helping these candidates, Americans aren’t going to vote a certain way just because someone famous is, nobody cares how famous people feel or vote. Sarah Palin has ran the entire state of Alaska she herself is more than qualified for the position of vice president. Like Americans are going to listen to someone who’s been in and out of drug rehab and is uneducated like Lindsay Lohan
I find it funny that Lindsay Lohan is voicing her opinion in public about politics. I’m sure she knows nothing about politics, as she apparently doesn’t about the Bible, because yes, being gay is a sin. She is only embrassing herself for having no knowledge before speaking out. And for someone with no knowledge to slam someone as respected and educated as Sarah Palin, that makes sense~not. Why do stars think Americans worship them so much that they are going to vote for the same people they are. That is not going to happen, we do have minds for ourselves and aren’t going to follow them because they are famous!

Where in the Bible does it say that “being gay” is a sin. You show me where that is. It is obvious you have no idea what you are talking about. In Leviticus, it say tis an abomination for man top lie with another man (lie is a verb here). The act of sex between two people of the same sex is an abomination. But why don’t people talk about sins that many heterosexual commit too like sex before marriage, adultery for any other reason than a wife’s infidelity. Leviticus also says that a woman must always obey her husband and that people who do not keep the Sabbath holy by like working should be out to death. Do you take these things literally for our times?? You would be in jail. Why don’t you try doing that and getting away with it in today;s society. Don’t pick and choose what sins are bad and what are not sins. Unless you have never sinned and will never sin, don’t judge. According to the Bible, we (you included) are all depraved sinners. Only God should judge not a fellow sinner like you. So shut your piehole and think before you write Moron!
Please show me where in the Bible “being gay” is a sin. To commit sin, there must be an action not just being. There are many different types of sin like sex before marriage, adultery, murder etc. that all people (gay or not) commit. There are no double standards as far as sin is concerned. You’re a sinner as am I therefore I do not judge others.
