Thank God for people like John Lasseter. While I have no problem with 3-d animation as long as the movies are good, like Pixar's films, I love traditional hand-drawn animation. The Winnie the Pooh movie excites me a lot, as Pooh is one of my most beloved childhood characters. I really like the watercolor idea. I honestly think the world needs a good mixture of 2-d and 3-d animated movies.

I saw Mr. Lasseter at Comic-Con. I can't wait to see the princess and the frog. So far what they have shown looks very promising and i'm glad Disney is going back to its hand drawn roots. 2D isn't dead.-VinnyLT

Its gonna be an amazing moment to watch DISNEY's Hand drawn movies. Waiting for the films and surely i believe that its gonna be a big hit.A year before i thought hand drawn animations will not exist.Special Thanks to john lasseter, who has an idea of giving hand drawn films to the audiences like me. And also am expecting a big hit for CARS 02. All the best for everyone those who are indulged in making those films. And thanks :)

Disney would do well to remember that its founder was an innovator of original technologies, ideas and characters - not a purchaser of worn-out properties like the muppets. It's hard to be a fan of a company that's becoming a conglomerate of other companies. I'm all for a Disney return to 2-D if only because it might bring back some of the magic and integrity the company was once known for. As it is, Walt wouldn't recognize his studio today. I'm not sure I do. That's why I decided not to attend the expo, although I'd been a Disney fan for years.

Thank goodness the money men have realized both class and bucks can co-exist in the 21st century. The beautiful illustration envisioned by these masters is timeless, with my own kids today preferring it to the cold but amazing digitized image. Great art is great art, and it doesn't diminish with time. Hurrah for Lasseters push to bring it to the forefront once again. The story has to be good, though, or he will lose that noble fight.
