Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, the girlfriend of bisexual reality TV starlet Tila Tequila died at her home in Los Angeles, the police said on Monday. She was 30.

casey“Our officers conducted a preliminary investigation which appears to be an apparent natural death,” said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Sara Faden. “There was no evidence of any foul play and the case is now being handled by the coroner’s, pending a toxicology report.”

The great-great granddaughter of Johnson & Johnson co-founder Robert Wood Johnson suffered from diabetes. The socialite was credited as a co-writer of her parents’ 1992 book “Managing Your Child’s Diabetes.” Her father, Robert “Woody” Johnson, owns the New York Jets football team.

Johnson moved in the same social circles as lifelong family friend Paris Hilton, and had her fair share of moments in the tabloid spotlight, including an arrest for alleged theft last November. She adopted a daughter from Kazakhstan, and wrote Twitter messages referring to Tila Tequila as her fiancée. She said they planned to buy a house together in January. Tila Tequila took to Twitter to eulogize her girlfriend, saying: “I love u so so much and we will Marry when I see U in Heaven my Wifey.”

Paris Hilton was quoted as telling Life & Style magazine: “She had a big heart and she was a good friend. I feel so sad. I don’t want to believe it.”

It’s never nice to see anybody die, especially when they’re so young, but it’s amazing how preferential the press coverage is for certain people. “Natural death at the age of 30…?” Yeah, right and I think a piece of the sky just fell on my head.

I agree with you cheesey, a natural death at 30 years old is a little far fetched. That’s also what they said about Brittney Murphy’s death at 32, it was natural. If they’re going to report the story then at least report it the same for everybody, they had no problems telling about Michael Jackson’s death.

It’s interesting that both young women had diabetes and a drug history. I won’t be surprised if the coroner finds that it was a diabetic coma for Johnson and probably Murphy.
Some people do not realize how important it is to take care of themselves as diabetics. Kidney failure, coma, loss of limbs, things not healing, amd blindness are things that aren’t taken seriously until they happen. I’ve known a couple of people who died from complications because not taking care of themselves; one ran out of money/no insurance and the other just didn’t want to go to the trouble. In this case, it was found too late.
