Socialite Casey Johnson, girlfriend of Tila Tequila, dies in Los Angeles

Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, the girlfriend of bisexual reality TV starlet Tila Tequila died at her home in Los Angeles, the police said on Monday. She was 30. 

“Our officers conducted a preliminary investigation which appears to be an apparent natural death,” said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Sara Faden. “There was no evidence of any foul play and the case is now being handled by the coroner’s, pending a toxicology report.”

The great-great granddaughter of Johnson & Johnson co-founder Robert Wood Johnson suffered from diabetes. The socialite was credited as a co-writer of her parents’ 1992 book “Managing Your Child’s Diabetes.” Her father, Robert “Woody” Johnson, owns the New York Jets football team.

Johnson moved in the same social circles as lifelong family friend Paris Hilton, and had her fair share of moments in the tabloid spotlight, including an arrest for alleged theft last November. She adopted a daughter from Kazakhstan, and wrote Twitter messages referring to Tila Tequila as her fiancée. She said they planned to buy a house together in January. Tila Tequila took to Twitter to eulogize her girlfriend, saying: “I love u so so much and we will Marry when I see U in Heaven my Wifey.”

Paris Hilton was quoted as telling Life & Style magazine: “She had a big heart and she was a good friend. I feel so sad. I don’t want to believe it.”

A new son for Cher as daughter plans sex change

If she could turn back time … Cher’s lesbian daughter would rather have been born a man. So Chastity Bono, 40, is undergoing a sex change, according to TMZ.       “Yes, it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” her publicist, Howard Bragman, was quoted as telling the celebrity gossip site.      Contacted by Reuters, Bragman confirmed the veracity of the TMZ report, but declined to comment further. A message left for Cher’s manager was not immediately returned.      Cher, 63, already has one son, Elijah Blue Allman, 32, from her marriage to Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers Band. Chastity’s dad was Cher’s first husband, late music impresario/politician Sonny Bono.      Chastity publicly revealed she was a lesbian in 1995. She briefly followed her parents into the music business, wrote two books – a memoir and a guide to coming out – and worked as a spokeswoman for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, which applauded her sex-change decision.

“Chaz Bono’s decision to live his life authentically represents an important step forward, both for him personally and for all who are committed to advancing discussions about fairness and equality for transgender people,” said GLAAD president Neil G. Giuliano. “Coming out as transgender is an extremely personal decision and one that is never made lightly. We look forward to hearing Chaz’s story in his own words in the future.”

A lecherous womanizer is the hottest entertainer out there for gay audiences.        Or more precisely openly gay actor Neil Patrick Harris, who plays the character in question on the CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” has topped a “Hot 100″ list determined by an online poll at a Web site popular with gay and bisexual men.      There’s a separate list for the ladies, and the No. 1 spot went to Australian actress Portia de Rossi, the wife of comedienne Ellen DeGeneres.      Both were compiled for the third year by gay-oriented cable channel Logo, which polled visitors to its afterelton.com and afterellen.com Web sites.      Harris, who revealed he was gay in 2006, ends the two-year reign of Jake Gyllenhaal, who played a gay cowboy in “Brokeback Mountain” but otherwise prefers the girls, specifically actress Reese Witherspoon. Gyllenhaal dropped to No. 4 on the new list.      Indeed, one does not have to be gay or lesbian to make it into the Hot 100s. The picks should be “hot … in the physical sense,” Logo said, but “also command our respect and admiration.” That might explain why President Barack Obama made it to No. 39 on the gay Hot 100. But Michelle Obama is either less popular with lesbians or faces tougher competition. The first lady came in at No. 97 on their list.       Logo helpfully identified the “out” people on its lists. Actresses Jennifer Beals (“The L Word”) and Lena Headey (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”), who are not, came in at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Beals’ “L Word” co-star Leisha Hailey, who is, was No. 4. Yet another “L Word” alumna, Sarah Shahi, who also is not, was No. 5.      For the men, “out” actors John Barrowman (“Doctor Who”) and Luke MacFarlane (“Brothers and Sisters”) ranked at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. Straight actor Jensen Ackles (“Supernatural”) came in behind Gyllenhaal at No. 5.

Eminem’s wish comes true as Lindsay Lohan, galpal split

Lindsay Lohan’s breakup with celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson is good news for Eminem, who eloquently expresses his passion for the actress in his new video.       The reclusive rapper took a swipe at the couple in “We Made You,” which was released on Tuesday, days after the women broke up.      In one scene, Eminem is driving a big rig while Lohan and Ronson lookalikes are making out next to him.      “He does not mean to lesbian offend, but Lindsay please come back to seeing men,” Eminem intones in his rapid clipped style. “Samantha’s a two, you’re practically a 10. I know you want me, girl. In fact I see you grin.”      Declaring that he’s “looking for more women to torture,” Eminem also claims he would be a better lover for actress Portia de Rossi than her wife Ellen DeGeneres. He also fantasizes about Sarah Palin, while a scantily clad lookalike of the former vice-presidential candidate poses seductively on her desk.       Other targets of Eminem’s rapier wit include tabloid starlet Kim Kardashian, and singers Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Amy Winehouse.      “You think that’s bad. You should hear the rest of my album. Never has there been such finesse and nostalgia,” he promises in the video.      That album, “Relapse,” the follow-up to his 2004 release “Encore” is due in stores on May 19.

Lindsay Lohan “taking a break” from gal pal Ronson

“We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself,” Lohan told E! News on Monday.

The “Mean Girls” actress was barred from a Ronson family party on Friday, and a locksmith was seen at Ronson’s home, where Lohan had resided in recent months, E! said.

Breakup speculation has often dogged the pair, who reportedly celebrated their anniversary in January. In that time, the career of “Mean Girls” actress Lohan has ground to a near halt, while Ronson has kept busy as a celebrity DJ.

Lesbian buzz over Lindsay Lohan

For a week, celebrity and gossip magazines have been buzzing with talk that Lindsay Lohan’s “friendship” with DJ Samantha Ronson is more than just friendship. They are having an affair, according to the gossip mill. The current talk was fueled mostly by a picture published last week of the two kissing while attending a Cannes film festival party.

Pictures of Lohan sporting an engagement ring last week in Cannes set off speculation the 21-year-old starlet could be heading to the wedding chapel with Ronson. But beware, it’s not the first time Lohan has stoked public interest by wearing something shiny on her wedding finger. She also did it a couple years ago, back when her constant companions were mostly of the male variety. 

Amid the media firestorm — several reports had her being offered $1 million to admit she was a lesbian – Lohan’s parents have said a few things about Lohan’s close ties with Ronson. Mom Dina Lohan has said she just wants her daughter to be “happy.” For her part, Lohan isn’t talking, and her spokeswoman has pushed back at the gossip by describing speculation about Lohan’s sexual orientation as “gross.” The spokeswoman did not return Reuters call or an e-mail for comment on Tuesday.

Just this past Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards here in Los Angeles, reality show star and bisexual Tila Tequila – not one to be shy of publicity – reportedly called on Lohan to come out of the closet.

But is Lindsay, who turns 22 years-old in July, really a lesbian and does it really matter what her sexual orientation is? Does she risk the loss of an already troubled career in Hollywood if, in fact, she is? And is it anybody’s business who she is kissing? We’re curious to know what our readers think.
