Digging deep into this year’s wild ride for the U.S. oil industry

July 26, 2016

Welcome to the first-ever episode of a podcast we’re calling Reuters Underground, a show about the commodities companies drill for, dig up and grow that keep the world’s economy moving. With this show, we dig deeper.

In this episode, we talk oil companies at a strange time of flux, with prices just starting to recover after an epic rout. The rebound in prices means some companies are seeing this as a time to invest and acquire. But it may not be enough to help out the people who live in those North Dakota and Oklahoma towns, where oil keeps communities running.

Plus, we talk about what could happen next.
