Art is not meant to be so much about the artist as the artist ability to capture the spirit of the moment in time in a way that will touch people in a different place in a different time and be understood or provoke and emotion or memory that can be shared through time… there is a lot 2 be said for being as compact and brief as possible but… the charlatans, and the fake artists or bullexcrementers and the minimalist with no , meaning, no purpose, no message..no relevance will have no place in the future therefore no value.. i think you are quite correct
