Information visualization of the day, unemployment edition
Latoya Egwuekwe deserves some kind of prize for this. Looking at the unemployment rate is one thing; really seeing it is another. Very, very well done.

Seriously? “Via Fallows”?
I guess it sound better than “Via commenter Goetz at Gawker”
I put this up two weeks ago.
I put it up on November 15, see http://40yrs.blogspot.com/2009/11/intere sting-animation-of-unemployment.html
That’s about 3 weeks ago…..Beat ya Goetz.
If I got it via a commenter at Gawker, why on earth would I have waited two weeks to post it?
Ha! Ya gott me Saroff. Only, I’m not Goetz.
Felix: ‘Cause it was recently reposted there. And you love Gawker. They write about bicycles all the time.
Doesn’t matter. I’ve annoyed even myself here.
