Patraus was his mentor and would best fill his shoes. I would think maturity and trust and strong military code adherence are far more important then recognizing which corrupt warlord be allowed to guard border crossings unhindered. There is little comparison to the military in combat and Chain of Command and a board room that Bruce should feel comfortable discussing. Although I understand counterinsurgency is unlike other methods of war, I doubt very much Bruce really is an expert any more then I am. Sadly Pat Tilman was about to tell some interesting stories on how "into the culture" some were/are. It is a shame we are going to hear only one side of the story and it will be from the same liar who covered up Tilman's death. Obama did the right thing to allow him some honour for his service, but no matter what he did there would be controversy as he can do no right according to some.
