Something like 75% of 75 year olds do not support same sex marriage. Something like 75% of 25 year olds do. Time is very much on the side of progress and tolerance in this case.

If only that were true for much larger and more imporntant issues like resource depletion…

They came up on the ballot for later approval, but they were never elected.

@Steven, no thank you. But if you want ample evidence that all is not genetically preordained, consider prisons where many adopt that lifestyle for a temporary period out of loneliness or other reasons. Or perhaps look at identical twin studies, where in most cases just one of the two twins is gay. Conversely, adoptive sibling studies show strong correlations that can only be cultural and environmental.

In this area we are in a dark ages where we shun science because it is not politically correct.

Go on, have frequent sex with someone of the same gender, show us how easy it is to change.

Gay marriage is a radical social redefinition and it is certainly not up to unelected judges to decide what social norms are. For gay marriage to be established by edict when it has not existed in any society at any time in history until recently is dictatorial to stay the least.

Proponents cite biology and talk as though people are born with a certain rigid orientation, without evidence. The rest of us have seen enough situations where people move from one orientation to another (in both directions) to see things very differently.

I am in an interracial marriage and I find analogies with interracial marriage to be a stretch to say the least. So-called anti-miscenegation laws were the aberration in just some states in our history with interracial marriage being legal in most times and places in history where it was even possible, given geographic limitations.
