The Federal Reserve, US S.E.C. and consumer advocacy groups are collectively opposed to a bill that was proposed by a Republican senator, that would give the White House, under the (Democrat) Obama administration, the power to restrict regulatory activity by the CFTC and S.E.C.

Good for them! This is one of the more encouraging news stories I&#039;ve read in awhile (although I don&#039;t care to think too much on what it might imply about current lawmakers and the executive branch...)</description>
