Kristine Fallstone, whose son was killed in an Army training exercise after he spent a year in Iraq, talks to Inside the Tent contributor Kathleen Miller about her support for Barack Obama and her evangelical Christian faith.

Inside the Tent has more than 40 delegates and other attendees in Denver and St. Paul, equipped with video cameras to capture the conventions from the ground up. Miller is not a Reuters employee and any opinions expressed are her own.

Kathleen Miller I am impressed by your gentleness and your humility. I am so sad for your loss. I also live in the state of washington, seattle, and I have opposed this war from the beginning. I belong to a large family of christians and supporters of the war, and it has been very difficult for me to understand thier perspectives. It is refreshing to hear someone who loves God, but doesn’t braid their faith with cliche christian/republican political objectives.
Thank You, and God Bless You!

Fallstone– you are one lost soul. It is impossible to be a Christian and support Obama. Obama supports allowing an infant (not ‘fetus’) who survives abortion to be thrown in the garbage can while still alive. Obama is a Godless, soulless Marxist who hates America. God gives true Christians discernment– and anyone who suports Obama has a complete lack of judgment and discernemt.
