I think there must be many more campaign photos of Obama which are more visually descriptive of the ‘Long Road’ than this example, which relies on a spotlight shadow to inform us who it is, but how will it be recognised in 50 years time….maybe 5?

Wow, these definitely deserve the distinction. I was particularly moved by the Russian bombardment in Gori photograph that displayed such emotion. Thanks for this and amazing work to bring these images to all of us.
