*  Sales of previously owned homes likely rebounded in September after a surprise fall in August, boosted by a government incentive for first-time buyers, low prices and mortgage rates, according to a Reuters poll.

*  Friday is the deadline set by Manhattan federal court for Dalton Chiscolm, who sued Bank of America, the largest U.S. bank and its board, demanding “1,784 billion, trillion dollars” to explain the basis for his claims, or else see his complaint dismissed.
