MANCHESTER, N.H. — Winning the Republican caucuses in Iowa means you don’t get a lot of sleep.

Reuters Television’s Chad Ruble caught up with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in a Manchester hotel lobby after Huckabee appeared on multiple back-to-back television interviews the morning after his big Iowa win.

And from Chad’s notes: At the breakfast buffet, the Iowa victor filled a plate in front of a few cameras capturing the new celebrity’s every move.

Huckabee: I have never had such an exciting breakfast in my life (joking).

Reporter: Did you even get an hour of sleep?

Huckabee: I haven’t had any sleep.

Reporter: None at all?

Huckabee: That’s where I’m going now.

One comment so far

I could tell Huckabee was not on top of his game at the debate tonight. Hope he rests up for the forum tomorrow because he deserves nothing short of a stellar showing after his hard work over the year.
