DES MOINES — Along with their chants of “Hillary, Hillary,” Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton’s supporters added a new rallying cry on Thursday night in Iowa.
“New Hampshire, NewHampshire, New Hampshire,” the crowd cheered while waiting for the candidate to take the stage in a Des Moines hotel ballroom after the Iowa caucuses.![]()
With the Iowa results in and rival Barack Obama the winner, Clinton was headed to New Hampshire to kick off with an early morning rally in Nashua on Friday ahead of that state’s own primary contest on Tuesday.
Another cry from the Des Moines crowd was “Madeleine for Vice President” when Madeleine Albright took the stage in support of Clinton. Albright served as U.S. Secretary of State under former U.S. President Bill Clinton.
Also on stage was another Hillary Clinton backer, retired U.S. Army Gen. Wesley Clark, who sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004.

Dear Hillary,
This is the beginning of the end for the Clinton machine. If the Democrats are to win the 2008 election you are not the one who can deliver a victory. The Iowa caucus showed just how much people want REAL change, this means NO CLINTON.
- Posted by MikeI am not sure yet Hillary is out, she can be as good as Obama.
- Posted by joaquinBarack Obama paid for his victory in Iowa in cash!
He spent more millions of dollars on the youths of Iowa who voted for him.
Compared to the amount of time and money he spent, 38% is not even a pass.
- Posted by Orikinla OsinachiI admit it, not sure if Obama con do it, but he is different.
- Posted by MatiasHillary is out. Clintons are out. And yes, face it Edwards fans, John and Elizabeth are out. 2008 is Obama’s year. Obama is going to win.
- Posted by jstip“Hillary, Hillary!” Shout while she falls.
- Posted by MorienusI can tell you why Hillary was so popular with women over 55 in Iowa. At the precinct caucus I attended in Iowa, her staff rented buses to bring in people from the nursing homes and sat by them to make certain that they would be counted. Hillary’s true strentgh of support in the Iowa caucuses was probably a third less than the numbers indicated. Hillary, please don’t try to turn Iowa into the city of Chicago where under Mayor Daly’s control the dead voted early and often. I am a former Republican and I am also an evangelical Christian who believes that Mr. Obama’s values are close to my values than other candidates. New Hampshire, beware of Hillary shenanigans in your vote.

- Posted by ifymensIt looks Hillary will choose Wesley Clark as her running mate if she wins and beats Obama.
That should be a huge boost for Hillary!

Hillary and her felonious fundraising: A shady Chinese megadonor to Sen. Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign named Norman Hsu drew some attention from mainstream media then faded. But virtually ignored was the fact it merely represented a host of illegal fundraising accusations against the Clintons. One case proceeding in the courts will require Sen. Clinton and her husband to testify under oath to fraud charges in the midst of the presidential election campaign this year.
Business mogul Peter Paul has filed a lawsuit charging President Clinton destroyed his entertainment company to get out of a $17 million agreement. The California Supreme Court already upheld a lower-court decision to deny the Clintons’ motion to dismiss the case. Bill Clinton, according to the complaint, promised to promote Paul’s company, Stan Lee Media, in exchange for stock, cash options and massive contributions to his wife’s 2000 Senate campaign.
This month, Paul filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission asking the agency to re-open an investigation into illegal contributions and to probe alleged continuing violations of the law by Sen. Clinton.
Paul, armed with videotape he made of a July 2000 phone call, contends the senator committed felony violations carrying a prison sentence of up to five years.

NH send this unexperienced, lying, patheic excuse for a politican down the road a loser as well. Hilbilly, ” a new state, a new loss” .

Hillary is the best candidate we’ve got. Obama can be very good in rehersed speeches, but he has given no specifics on what he means by change. It’s an empty message. We don’t want a no nothing president like the one we’ve had for the last seven years. The White House is not a place to learn, it’s a place to use all your experience and accumulated wisdom to try to get America on a new course. Obama isn’t up to it. Maybe in eight years?
- Posted by Kate DDear Barry Pryor, there is no Muslim running for president. If you think Obama is a Muslim you’ve fallen for that Fox “News” rumor that they keep recycling. The Rumor That Would Not Die, that’s what Fox’s motto should be because they’re certainly not “fair and balanced”. Truthbetold, the FEC currently does not have enough members to take action because Dubya keeps pushing the unqualified Hans von Spakovsky for confirmation, though he was behind those decisions disenfranchising Georgia voters by demanding ID cards from the old, poor, and infirm, a decision reversed by a court finding it equivalent to the poll tax now outlawed by Constitutional amendment. And why would someone make a videotape of a phone conversation? Frankly your posting reeks of lack of credibility. Gimp, I don’t know that stability is what we want when we’re headed toward a recession, endless occupation of Iraq, and likely greater turmoil along the Afghan-Pakistan border which should have been dealt with before any adventures against the non-threat Iraq, not to mention a surging China flush with all the money we gave it buying leaded toys.
