Giuliani TV ad gives blunt assessment of economy

Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani, who has sat out most of the early nominating contests and instead focused on big states like Florida, launched a new TV advertisement that describes the U.S. economy “in peril” — one of the bluntest descriptions uttered by a Republican campaign.

While Democratic rival Hillary Clinton said she believed the economy was “slipping towards recession”, most Republicans have avoided such direct characterization even as unemployment is rising, the housing market is crashing and energy prices are soaring.

Here’s the spot.

Funny, Ron Paul has been warning us about the economy all along… Wonder if Rudy will now start talking about a commodity-backed currency and the dangers of the unaccountable Fed.

Probably not. Rudy’s not big on reading.

As a person, I like Rudy Giuliani and I commend him for his heroic leadership in managing the aftermath of September 11, 2001 terroist attack on New York City!

He is, however, in the pockets of special interest groups and, I question his ability to lead this nation on the verge of recession. As a Republican, I am concerned that Rudy is just another one of those “Wall Street” Republicans, unlike Mike Huckabee who is a “Main Street Republican. Wall Street will take care of Wall Street and those of us who are investors, will continue to either make money in the markets, or take our losses as they come. For the rest of us in America, jobs, food on the table, mortgage payments, taxes, medical expenses, etc., etc. are real issues that will effect all Americans. Rudy does not appear to care much about middle class America and that is why I support former Governor Mike Huckabee for President of the United States.

It’s amazing that someone would say that Giuliani does not care about middle class, especially when most of New York is that or less.
Also, do not be so blind as to think there is a politician that is not backed by some kind of pocket. It just matters what these representatives decide to do with that support….
If Giuliani can take crime down by 66% (in a state that is deemed to be more a country in it’s own right), what are the possibilities with him at the helm of a whole nation.

Peril?

With Bush at the helm the Titanic is sinking!

But don’t rats jump ship to save their own skins?

The US economy has had its very nature hidden from the world: the reality is that over a million New Yorkers alone CANNOT afford to buy food! The truth is surely being revealed…

The UK, incidentally, has now surpassed the per capita wealth of the US citizen.

The decline continues and only a brilliant president can reverse the decline.

The inexorable and the impending cannot be denied any longer.

Unbelievable, Giuliani will say anything to get in. Read the issue in TheNation that talks about who is backing Giuliani. The same oil interest that backed Bush. Also check out what the NYC fire fighters say about him:

Unbelievabale….every politician will say anything to win, at any cost…the ultimate goal is to win at any cost, so to single one man out is ridiculous. Americans do want to hear the truth about addressing money issues, because the only solution is our money. What candidate in his right mind is going to tell Americans the truth….there’s a sure way to lose.
that video is nothing but propaganda and on a different but similar note firefighters did not have the communications needed to properly handle the situation…whose fault that is, I don’t know.

sorry correction to above is that Americans do NOT want to hear the truth about money issues.

I hope black people have finally learned their lesson and can see more clearly who Bill and Shilary Clinton really are. While Bill Clinton called Obama a fairytale and she discredited Martin Luther King all in the space of 7 days… it is clear after all these years who this man really is!!!
In a short matter of time he and his wife have managed to release some of the most racist statement ever heard by a former president and his wife, all due to her being behind and losing this election. I hope Barack Obama really send them packing handily and afro Americans see this lying scum from Arkansas for the con man he is… now that is what I call the Clinton legacy.. let’s all just be happy they are showing their true colors now — The Clinton Legacy = Two faced con man who stole the white house
