Another Clinton gets emotional

NEW YORK - Sen. Hillary Clinton wasn’t the only Clinton getting emotional on Monday.

“You’re the closest person to my heart,” Chelsea Clinton told her mother as they participated in a voter town hall, “and I’m getting a little emotional.”

chelsea1.jpgHer comments came as Chelsea Clinton introduced a question from an audience member on health care, a topic she said was close to the hearts of her mother and herself.

Such open expression is unusual for the 27-year-old daughter of Hillary and former president Bill Clinton. She rarely speaks in public and generally declines to speak to members of the press.

It came just hours after her mother grew visibly moved, with tears glistening in her eyes, while being given a warm introduction at a campaign appearance at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

The show of emotion was reminiscent of the roundtable discussion Clinton held with voters the day before the New Hampshire primary, when she choked up and got teary. Many observers say the display of feeling helped turn voter support her way in New Hampshire, where she won the presidential nominating primary, after losing in Iowa.

A drowning (wo)man can grip even a broomstick just to stay afloat. Billary ‘are’ already on a sinking ship and are looking for anything anti-BO to save them. Fact is that you don’t win elections by only focusing on PHD (Pull Him Down) techniques but by letting the electorate know exactly what they’d benefit if they hand you their votes. So far, Billary have not focused on what we expect from them: our benefits from your candidacy. Enough of the PHD. You can’t have my vote “just like that!

I am amazed at how people cannot see through this ****. She cried a day before the NH primaries, and now she cries a day before Super Tuesday. Can anyone not see how manipulative this woman is? This is a pathetic manipulation on her side. Its amazing what levels people can fall down to just to get elected.

Guys make sure you check out the article “The Intoxication of Inspiration” on the blogzine SAVAGE POLITICS (not related to Mike Savage) at http://www.savagepolitics.com. It is awesome……everyone should read it before voting.

Extraordinary nervousness in Hillaryland - let’s call it desperation. Hillary has had some down news cycles by way of mandating health care to the point of garnishing your wages, right after news breaks of her money chase, with Bill as the houndog, for the 132 million dollar pay off from their friend in the Kazakistan deal. Bill is the one that takes the wrap. He is her dupe, as usual, and America is not going to vote for four years of Clinton Team scandal. It’s over, I’m afraid.

Clinton faced a question about electability in a union hall in St. Louis. A supporter asked what she would do to ensure that Democrats don’t “shoot ourselves in our own foot this time.”

“This is going to be open season once again, and we need to nominate somebody with the experience and the fortitude and know-how to take what they send our way and send it right back,” Clinton replied.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I will NEVER vote for Clinton!
All Mrs. Clinton can do is fire back negatives.

Refreshingly, Mr. Obama rises above this sort of knee-jerk reaction so that solutions can be found for everyone - not just Democrats.
We’re not just hiring a non-Bush, we’re electing a diplomat - an ambassador for America to the rest of the world.
Mr. Obama represents a dignified head of state that Mrs. Clinton could never hope to match.

It is inconceivable to me that ANYONE can be undecided when the choice is so plain.

On Legislative Experience:
Senator Clinton, who has served only one full term (6yrs.), and another year campaigning, has managed to author and pass into law, (20) twenty pieces of legislation in her first six years.
These bills can be found on the website of the Library of Congress (www.thomas.loc.gov), but to save you trouble, I’ll post them here for you.
1. Establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site.
2. Support the goals and ideals of Better Hearing and Speech Month.
3. Recognize the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
4. Name courthouse after Thurgood Marshall.
5. Name courthouse after James L. Watson.
6. Name post office after Jonn A. O’Shea.
7. Designate Aug. 7, 2003, as National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
8. Support the goals and ideals of National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
9. Honor the life and legacy of Alexander Hamilton on the bicentennial of his death.
10. Congratulate the Syracuse Univ. Orange Men’s Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.
11. Congratulate the Le Moyne College Dolphins Men’s Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.
12. Establish the 225th Anniversary of the American Revolution Commemorative Program.
13. Name post office after Sergeant Riayan A. Tejeda.
14. Honor Shirley Chisholm for her service to the nation and express condolences on her death.
15. Honor John J. Downing, Brian Fahey, and Harry Ford, firefighters who lost their lives on duty. Only five of Clinton’s bills are, more substantive. 16. Extend period of unemployment assistance to victims of 9/11.
17. Pay for city projects in response to 9/11
18. Assist landmine victims in other countries.
19. Assist family caregivers in accessing affordable respite care.
20. Designate part of the National Forest System in Puerto Rico as protected in the wilderness preservation system.
There you have it, the fact’s straight from the Senate Record.
Now, I would post those of Obama’s, but the list is too substantive, so I’ll mainly categorize.
During the first (8) eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced
233 regarding healthcare reform,
125 on poverty and public assistance,
112 crime fighting bills,
97 economic bills,
60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,
21 ethics reform bills,
15 gun control,
6 veterans affairs and many others.
His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These inculded
**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 (became law),
**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),
**The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,
**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),
**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee), and many more.
In all since enter the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096. An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no record according to the spin meisters and mindless twits.

Linda,

Barack said he would perform a surgical strike in Pakistan if he had to in order to kill Bin Laden. NOT send an entire army to plow over a country that did not attack us.

Grow up.

Hillary would introduce no change in foreign policy because she would continue to follow the model that has been refined for the past 75 years.

She believes in controlling your enemies by turning them against themselves.

Barack states he wants to change the methodology that got us into war, a fundamental change in foreign policy.

Oh, yeah, Hillary crying? What a scam. Please don’t take the bait. Can you imagine Hillary in the Oval Office with her girlfriend this time.

Bill Clinton in the White House again. We can’t be that stupid!! Wake up America. Don’t forget the trial for Impeachment and how he lied to the American people and Grand Jury. What a PIG. Some woman who he used and abused should of shot him. What a horrible roll model for my 2 boys. They look at this past President and are disgusted. They asked me, “aren’t you supposed to have high morals if you are President?”. If he had to fool around with ALL those women, he should of done it in another house, not the American White House. Bill, take a pill and go night night!!! Adios Clintons, you suck.
