WASHINGTON - Infighting has broken out between some of Democrat Hillary Clinton’s top political advisers, according to a big scoop in The Washington Post. clintonflag

Boiled down to its bare essentials, there was this dramatic clash between advisers Harold Ickes and Mark Penn:

“(Expletive) you!” Ickes shouted.

“(Expletive) you!” Penn replied.

“(Expletive) you!” Ickes shouted again.

The Post said many in the Clinton staff, in the wake of her comeback victories in Texas and Ohio, were intent on making sure Penn did not get credit for the wins.

Penn was being blamed for various campaign strategic decisions that had put Clinton in a deep hole to rival Barack Obama until she won three of four contests on Tuesday.
