As our good friend Tester nominates the Montana governor for Obadias's veep on MSNBC, I have got to admit that about a year ago, while on a long bike ride, I waxed poetic with my riding mates about my dream ticket Obama Schweitzer for eight years, then Schweitzer/Obama for the next eight.

“The media is reporting that Senator Obama has narrowed his alternatives to three men: Joe Biden, Evan Bayh and Tim Kaine. They're all decent fellows, but they are far from the core of what the Obama campaign has been about: Change. Real change. Out with the old. And don't invade countries that pose no threat to us.

Senators Biden and Bayh voted for that invasion and that war, the war Barack ran against, the war Barack reminded us was the big difference between him and Senator Clinton because she voted for the war and he spoke out against it while running for Senate (a brave and bold thing to do back in 2002).

For Obama to place either of these senators on the ticket would be a huge blow to the millions that chose him in the primaries over Hillary. He will undercut one of the strongest advantages he has over the Hundred-Year War senator, Mr. McCain. By anointing a VP who did what McCain did in throwing us into this war, Mr. Obama will lose the moral high ground in the debates.”

- Another interesting part of the letter.

Wow...If Obama picks any women besides Clinton his boat won't leave the port, it will sink...
The ONLY saving grace this man has is Colin Powell...period
He is the ONLY one who will be able to lift Obama out of the 5 foot mountain of mud he buried himself into on Saturday night.
Good luck to all of you in November because McCain is no longer in a so called "struggle" to make it to the top.

Marvelous thought. The Bush administration has destroyed the foundation for many of our liberties and the Karl Rove bunch continues to ressurrect Dr. Goebels in a manner that undermines our election process. What we dearly need is the intelligence, demenor and honesty of a Caroline Kennedy. If not the Vice Presidency, then at the very least we need her to head the Justice department.

Yes, it is brilliant. The electorate has to have an emotional connection with the canditates and Caroline Kennedy can provide that. Also as a sidenote:

www.obamakennedy08.org and www.obamakennedy2008.org both point to www.barackobama.com

www.obamakennedy08.com and www.obamakennedy2008.com are taken (ie: Network Solutions wont let you register them) but are down.

OK since we're dreamin and don't care if we loose, why not go for broke and make it Oprah. Maybe she can work out a deal with GM where anyone who votes for the dream ticket gets the chance to win a free hybrid carrrrrrrrr!

Let's hope Obama knows better puts his ego aside and makes it Obama/Clinton.

Hello Americans?

You can't be serious.

You're country is in a disastrous state, your economy will soon be grounded. And you talk about fresh wind coming trough a blood-line. Well since Bush 2nd, we know that th US are a hereditary monarchy.

What America needs now (from my point of view) is an experienced economist.
Mc Kain and Obama aren't the right ones, you need someone like Warren Buffet.
(Not Greenspan and not Bernanke, they did/do a terrible job)

Greetings from Switzerland
