GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is “a breath of fresh air after the hype and the slickness of the Democratic campaign,” actor Jon Voight tells Reuters’ Ed Stoddard outside the Republican National Convention in St. Paul.

I am never watching another one of his movies again. Yeah she is really grounded… Trooper-gate, newborn with DS but running for the most important office in the land, to me she sounds very iresponsible. I don;t know what this lady is about beyond serving the conservative ideology.
- Posted by JDReally JD? “I am never watching another one of his movies again”…childish a bit? She has a newborn with Down Syndrome so that makes her no capable to run for VP? Her teenage daughter is pregnant so that makes her a horrible mother? Really? Why?
Are you that far out of date to realize that many responsible, caring and well meaning parents find themselves in that same situation?
Are you seriously that ignorant?
Wait, she is a mom so she should conform to the 1600’s ideology of staying home with the kids right? LMAO….You are, what I can only “assume” as an uneducated male pig.
- Posted by kdayAs an independent voter, I would just like to say JD’s statement, “I don’t know what this lady is about beyond serving the conservative ideology” says it all! He is obviously either too immature or too ignorent to make an educated decision. Casting a vote for for any political election should n ot be based upon a candidates affiliation with a political party. The notion that republicans are conservative and democrats are liberal is at best idealistic thinking. These days, members of both parties are refered to as centrists, moderates, and as being a part of the extreme left or right. This is not a football game, where you rub it in to your friends face that yhour team won. This is an important decision that will affect our nation for the next four years. If you are foolish enough to base your vote on what you have seen in the news, you are a part of why the country is in the spot it is today. The consideration and gumption to do the research on the candidates before you vote should be an essential part of your decision making process. Voting for somebody, just because everybody else is doing it is just plain stupid. Likewise, if you did a bit of research you would find that McCain is different than Bush in many ways. As for never watching another one of his movies again, that is just childish . . . whats next are you going to quit watching Angelina Jolie movies . . . after all it is jon voights daughter . . . being that they are relate by blood they must think alike. There are some lyrics in a song by Black Sabbath, “Into the Void,” that sums it up best . . . “is your mind so small, that you have to fall, in with the pack wherever they run?”
