John McCain should be glad kids don’t vote

babyobama.jpgNEW YORK - If kids could vote, Democrat Barack Obama would be the next U.S. president, according to a new survey.

Half of children and young adults age 8 to 17 would vote for Obama, according to the survey by the Harris Interactive Youth Center of Excellence.

Twenty-nine percent said they would pick Republican John McCain, while 18 percent said they were not sure, the survey said.

The survey was conducted online among 1,064 youth ages 8 to 17 between Sept. 17 and Sept. 22. Harris Interactive, a custom market research company based in Rochester, New York,  said it does not calculate or estimate a margin of error.

That’s because kids, much like liberals, like “free stuff” and “socialism”.

Aren’t we all glad people don’t vote as children?

To hear some of the trite and mean spirited name insults like “mcsame”, “mcbush”, “barrack osama”, gen “betray us” (democrat party group moveon used instead of gen petraeus) from the campaigns and their supporters it is sometimes hard to tell that children aren’t voting. A lot of the behavior, manipulations and abusive fallacies from those campaign personnel and their supporters sound like childish insults from 3rd grade bullies. And the people who give those abusive name-mocking bullies legitimacy by acting like mocking someone’s name is way to show how to cast a vote, instead of looking at facts and records, make this world feel that much more like the twilight zone.

I sure bet he does… Because if they could his tail would already be dragging between his leg behind his tiller on the farm with a pig who has lipstick on. America the people of this great nation do not want anymore of the Tiller or the pig. We have lived high on the hog (so they say) for eight count them eight years now. And we look like failures to the world. It’s change we need!! OBAMANOS AMERICA…

CJ, most of your post sounds like it’s describing the nastiness and childish hatred so evident among fans of W during the run-up to the Iraq war. I myself am not given to name-calling, but your high sounding rhetoric falls very flat in the light of the past eight years. Vote Obama. Enough of this whining.

So when is Obama going to spell out this change? Are we all so blind that just becuase he says change people will vote for him? I honestly could care less what other countries think, I only care to know what it is going to take to get our country back on track. Thank goodness we are adults and can pay attention to details and not fall prey to a false preacher…

This is just another attempt to make fun of what is unfamiliar to some people. During this entire campaign, people have ranted and raved about Senator Obama’s religious background; For those mid-west illiterates, IF you knew ANYthing about Islam you would know that The #1 cardinal sin as a Muslim is to eat PORK. He was seen eating bacon with the troops while in Iraq, and while on the campaign trail, he was also seen sucking on many a rib bone!!! His wife, Michelle during her time on the View declared…’we are a bacon eating family!!

CJ- You forgot to mention that people on the Republican side make it a point to emphasize Obama’s middle name (as if having that middle name he is somehow a terrorist). They also continue to lie and say that he is a Muslim when he in fact is not. How third grade is that?

Neither of these things has anything to do with the election and yet they continue. People from both “sides of the aisle” are guilty of acting childish. You can’t say that some Democrats are the only ones.

Thank you.. NICHOLE. Not to mention that it was not Obama’s side who started the finger pointing or the name calling. So, YEAH! let’s talk about the 3rd. grade. These are exactly why we mush push forward hard. Not onlt push but shove as hard as we can. WE will stop this and change is comming…. America it’s up to now !. Do not give up almost their………VOTE!!!

OBAMANOS AMERICA….

Gosh it would’ve been such a good race if Ron Paul were running.

democrats focus on Palin’s accent and her children, how is that any more fair? Oh that’s right your party does it so it is automatically fair.

Don’t worry, Republicans are working furiously to keep those young people from voting. Imagine their surprise when they show up to vote and find they have been scrubbed from the roll.

Ben- Not everyone who is insulting Palin is insulting her accent and children. I was raised in Minnesota so I have a similar accent. People are insulting her because she has yet to prove that she would be able to take over if McCain became president and died in office. The only reason she “did well” in the VP debate was because she didn’t pass out on stage. She avoids questions. When she does “answer” questions, her responses are random jumbles of words.

And in case you missed the point of my first post, I was simply saying that you cannot insult one party for attacking the other because everyone is attacking each other right now. CJ had said he/she did not like the name calling and I was arguing that there are some Republicans who are name calling as well so everyone has to take some blame, not just some of the Democrats. And for that matter, not all Democrats should take heat for something only some Democrats are doing, the same way I do not have a problem with all Repulicans for the actions of a few.

If Kids could vote, well they probably are if Acorn hires had signed them up…. which makes this election very suspect due to Ohio and a few other states looking the other way on any legitimate ID’s etc. Who knows what really is out there registered to vote…cats etc.
This writer should get to a more investigative article on the thousands of bogus people ACORN has signed vs. an article from a survey “marketing group” of 1800 kids surveyed.
Once again Obama has ties to Acorn (5 years@their attorney), as well as ties to Rev. Wright (20 years),ties to Kenya’s radical Mr.Odinga (his cousin who he talks to frequently), and Bill Ayers(15 yrs) who was a former terrorist guy just in his neighborhood who sponsored coffees and money to new politicians. If America actually believes Obama’s a guy who doesn’t know stuff about people who are radical so he hangs out with them for a long time,(maybe he doesn’t see it because he is so above it all) his lack of credibility and judgement is amazing for a guy who went to Harvard. May be it’s normal in academic circles, but not to run a nation. This is typical deja vu as from President Clinton who said he didn’t have sex with Monica Lewinsky. Nothing sticks to Obama either, we do not need a President who has this many conincidentally bad friends.
