A future in showbiz for Sarah Palin?

CHICAGO - Although Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has given no indication that she is considering a career outside politics, a Los Angeles public relations consultant says she could have a future in show business.

She “is the hottest property in media,” Michael Levine said.

“My sources confirm producers and agents all over showbiz are trying to figure out what to do with her. One serious possibility could be an Oprah-style talk show,” the head of  Levine Communications said in a note circulated to reporters  Friday.

He added that “she’s a perfect fit as a TV host, stirring passions on both sides, which is a winning formula for large viewership.”

Regardless of any speculation about the future, Palin hopes to be elected vice president on Nov. 4. If Palin and Republican presidential nominee John McCain lose to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and his running mate Sen. Joe Biden, she still has two years remaining in her term as Alaska’s governor.

Sarah Palin has lead an exceptional life with success in everything she has set her mind to. I’m sure if not the VP spot in the next administration she will surely be successfull in whatever she and her family decide to do.

Sarah Palin is about right for a Elizabeth Hasselback’s job on the View, but if she gets it, I don’t want to watch anymore. They seem to be about evenly matched on intelligent reasonable conversation and talking points. Sarah can bring a moose head and skins from the grizzly and polar bears and wolves she kills from the air. And hey, she can talk about how she thinks it makes more sense to develop the Pebble Mine than it does to keep Bristol Bay, which is one of Alaska’s best fixing areas, clean. She’s fighting for the mine to be able to dump it’s toxic waste into the Bay. Alaska sends hundreds of tons of sea food from that Bay all over the world, so if you eat sea food you’re likely to own a piece of the Pebble Mine too—the toxic waste. Did you know that researchers found that if a woman ate ONE meal of fish from Lake Michigan with it’s own commercial waste toxins that the poison could be tested out of her great, great, great, great granddaughter? Literally, the sins of the fathers visited on the children onto the third and fourth generations. Yep, that Sarah, she sure has good ideas.

Why would anyone want to listen to anything Sarah Palin has to say? And how could she possibly be a talk-show host when the only person, whose opinion she is interested in, is her own. Sarah P knows what’s best for everyone - or haven’t you gotten that message. Even Alaskans say the only reason she was elected governor was that she wasn’t Ted Murkowski. And her popularity there has fallen to about 55% (down from 80%) — partially because of her illegal activities as governor. So, if she’s a hot property…well, I wouldn’t look for sustained high ratings.

I’m sure she will be very happy and successful as the newest Fox News contributor and pundit. Maybe she can do a show with Bill O’Rielly, thank God I don’t have cable.

Perhaps she could be a stand-in for Tina Fey.

I find it hard to believe she would want to live in New York city or LA. She would not fit into our politically perfect world. Alaska is not like the lower 48 and her people endure her inconviences to avoid the spotlight we try and shine into everyone’s live with our twisted judgement. the chicken littles of the world cannot fathom the depths of faith that
Alaskan’s live by and so anything they say about people of faith makes the faithful seem stupid and afraid. The truth is quite opposite in fact. Oh and by the way Men In Trees in not about Alaskans, quite the opposite there too.

Latest McCain Dirty Trick to Win Election Backfires - Thwarted by Pittsburgh Police Dept: - McCain Worker Made Up Attack Story - Pittsburgh Woman To Be Charged With Making False Report After Claiming “B” Was Carved Into Face By “6 Foot 4 Inch Tall Black Mugger” PITTSBURGH, Oct. 24, 2008. A John McCain campaign volunteer made up a story of being robbed, pinned to the ground and having the letter “B” scratched on her face in a politically inspired attack, police said Friday. Ashley Todd, 20-year-old college student from College Station, Texas, admitted Friday that the story was false, police said. Maurita Bryant, the assistant chief of the police department’s investigations division, said Todd is being charged with making a false police report. Todd worked in New York for the College Republican National Committee before moving two weeks ago to Pennsylvania, where her duties included recruiting college students, the committee’s executive director, Ethan Eilon, has said. Eilon declined to comment on the investigation Friday or to help The Associated Press contact Todd.

This story reflects desperation, and shows the level McCain’s campaign workers, rogue or otherwise, are willing to sink to in their final pre-election push!!!

On the Obama side, however, more than 3 million Americans from all walks of life have made campaign contributions to Obama and Biden to enable them to wage this campaign, and to beat the sleaze machine of McCain/Palin/Rove & Fox News.

I am proud to be one of those contributors!

We want, and desperately need integrity back in our politics, and in our economy as well, and yes, we’ve been digging deep into our pockets to help Obama achieve this goal!

In just 12 days we will have the great democratic privilege to put an end to this sickening era. The politics of ploys, stunts, slime, sleazy robocalls, and culture wars is on the ballot!

The politics of Bush/Cheney, McCain/Palin, Karl Rove/Steve Schmidt, and Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News, will be defeated!

Remember, citizens! We need a massive turnout of voters, and a landslide victory, because as we can see today, the Republicans are again trying to steal this election at the polling stations, just like in 2000 and 2004.

People, with strength, courage, and dignity let us vote Obama/Biden into office in overwhelming numbers, and return honesty, decency, and integrity to American politics.

And starting Nov. 5th, let us together begin the hard work of repairing the immense damage these thieves and scoundrels from the Republican Party have done to our economy, our country, and our people.

here - here to fbla1805. The Repubs need to purge the Rove-esque faction from their party. Good US citizens (not good US consumers) are fed up. The United States needs to pull together behind Obama and work for returning our PRIDE in Foreign and Domestic Policy.

Hell no she shouldn’t get her own show. The whole damn show will be all about her. Sarah Palin needs to bring her funky butt back to Alaska, America will do just fine without her.
