WASHINGTON - The first voting polls are starting to close which starts the first data dump from exit polls, focusing on voters’ concerns and by a wide margin the economy is atop most Americans’ minds.

Some 62 percent of voters said the economy was the top issue, trailing the Iraq war by a whopping 52 points at 10 percent, according to CNN. The issue of terrorism and health care tied for third with 9 percent.

Over 90 percent of those interviewed said that U.S. economic conditions were either “not so good” or “poor”. Almost the same number told pollsters that they were either very or somewhat worried about the future of the economy, according to MSNBC.

I personally think the biggest fear is the poor housing market. How no one can afford a house.. and those that thought they could afford a house now wish they didn’t buy cuz the prices are dropping like poop on a fly..

Just look at the housing price trend in your local city. it’s dropping weekly!!
