The Yalu River provides a unique vantage point for photographers to glimpse life in the secretive North Korean state. 40 PHOTOS
Interesting – take a look at the shoes, as well as the non-standard gloves in image #1. Not sure what the prescription is for wearing hats, but I think the front one is a bit of a rebel (fancies herself a model) in that regard.
Though they are in step, they are clearly not marching (see 3rd from front, and the one at the back is clearly distracted by something off screen). Only two (front and back) are carrying rifles… hmmm – may be guarding (escorting) the two in the middle?
The one in the front has a strange gait – forward on her toes. She is also the more aware of the crowd.
Hilarious… Spank me mamma! Daddy has been a bad boy! Nice to see Kim has his own private stock….
Is it disturbing that I keep coming back to perv the one in the front with the pouty lips and sexy high heels?
I think the North Korean gentleman kicking the goat may be upset he found out the goat was not a sheep last night. He seems upset over that.
Most of these people will be dead by morning.
You have to understand who we are dealing with.
They will not tolerate an insult.
I can lively imagine when North Korean regime falls in the foreseeable future and some of these people ( obviously if they survive war ) look back at these pics and say in awe: How could we live in such a huge lie?!?
Perhaps they will kill the enemy with their heels…
@binary…. it’s a fashion show.
Its the propaganda machine of N.K. If you know you are being watched, you won’t pick your nose. Look at some pictures, rough soldiers, perfect kids, pretty women well dressed, the one in yellow blouse seems to come straight out of an catalogue. If N.K. would start a war, all its soldiers desert as soon as they are near the border… Nice slideshow btw.
Kim….you nasty nasty man….nice taste in womans uniforms…thats my only compliment to you.
