WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT Photographer Goran Tomasevic went inside Nairobi's Westgate shopping center as gunmen from Somalia's al Shabaab group killed dozens of mall goers. Read Goran's personal account of what he witnessed here. 28 PHOTOS

Photo 26, I am afraid to say, I’m not 100% sure. But it looks like this could be Elif Yavuz 33 and her husband Ross Langdon. She was born in the Netherlands, studied at Radboud university Nijmegen, went on to be a Harvard Allumni. She worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative in Kenya as a specialist in malaria. SHE WAS 8.5 MONTHS PREGNANT! Her husband Ross Langdon a respected architect, A committed conservationist, he led all the firm’s projects in East Africa; was completing an HIV-AIDS clinic in Uganda – which he designed without charge – and was about to start on a $35 million museum telling the story of the earliest fossil record of walking humanoids in Kenya.
People need to know their story. The world needs to know how these degenerate fanatic, stupid beyond believe, inhumane, cold blooded killers destroyed their lives and that of their unborn child. Innocent all. Precious not only to those that knew them personally and loved ones, but to all of us. These two people who made it their lives goal to better the world and ease the suffering of their fellow human beings, be it muslim, christian, or else, they were mercilessly gunned down, by people who think they are righteous and true ‘believers’ of the one and only fate.
These two people Elif and Ross are far more worthier of a place in paradise, if there is such a place, then these thugs, whose idea of bettering the world, is to slaughter the innocent, just because they do not believe in Allah or that so-called prophet Muhammed.
We need to rid the world of these people and their religion of peace. It is a cancer spreading across the world. And that is the truth. Rest in peace Elif, Ross, and your unborn child.

Thank you Alexander1974 for saying just what I was thinking all day.

How can an religion claim to be of Peace, Respect and Truth if the only thing they are after is killing who they think is less.
Sounds to me like the Nazi’s in WWII.

I have saved photo 26 so I will remember them and all others who where murdered by these only true ‘believers’.
If this is what any religion is about the world is better of without it.

This is not what any religion is about. Not mine, not yours. These individuals are brainwashed psycopaths. Not Muslims.

The pictures are so moving. I was in the mall a few weeks back and remember thinking how much Kenya has progressed and how it has developed into a tolerant, multi-cultural country. The mall is in Westlands/Parklands, where many Kenyan muslims live side by side with Hindus, Christians and expats of all faiths.

I feel for the people who lost lives, their families and the kenyan people, this is not the Islam i know, these people are at war and are using Islam to advance their cause which is wrong, Islam is a religion of peace and tolerant. the world needs to get lid of extremism, and America is one country propagating extremism through its policies.

I am deeply touched by the picture of the child running to safety. In the background you can see another child hiding, I constantly wonder what happened to him/her. Is there anyone who can tell me?

Please do not remove the pictures of the deceased as suggested above.
These atrocities must be seen by all to galvanize our will to eradicate this insidious problem inside the Muslim community.
