Your narration in this video story says “Pilgrims travel from distances near and far to worship the image of Virgin Marina, one of the most visited and largest Roman Catholic shrines in the world.”
Correction: Catholics do not worship images in anything but an archaic sense of the word, a sense which almost no one who hears it would understand. This is a defamatory statement as regards Catholics and Catholicism as it stands. Please correct it.

A defamatory statement, please!
- Posted by JosephCatholics call it ‘adoration”. However a rose by anyother name……
- Posted by PriscaI think you were justified in saying that Catholics worship idols. What is the difference in worshipping a dead idol and a dead woman, Mary, and dead men, saints, of whom you have made idols. The book of Ecclesiastes 9:5 and 6, in the Bible, states that the dead do not know anything that goes on on this earth. Jesus is th only person who died and rose from the dead who can hear your prayers and do anything about them.
