You obviously are biased towards McCain. Obama's pastor is controversial but McCain's is okay for being anti-gay? Typical corporate media bias. Of course no matter how conservative you are conservatives will do knee jerk comments accusing you of liberal bias. The fact that liberals are pointing out your bias towards McCain doesn't prove that you're okay just because you got it from both sides.

Regarding your article, "Pope Laments Killing of Iraqi Priest" (Writing by Phil Stewart; Editing by Robert Woodward) the reference to the Priest as belonging to the Syrian Orthodox Church is incorrect. He was a Priest in the Assyrian Orthodox Church. It is bad enough that England and America have both been complicit in the extermination of the Assyrian people during the last one hundred years and their exile from our ancient homeland, but to refer us as Syrians is a major blunder and insult. We are not Arabs and our language is not Arabic. We are the descendents of the Ancient Assyrian Empire our language is Aramaic... the language that Jesus Christ spoke and we are the indigenous people of present day Iraq. We were betrayed by both the British and the Americans who exploited us during both World Wars of the last Century. They used us as military fodder to fight their battles in what is today called Iraq and then rewarded us by giving our land to the Arabs who fought for Hitler. The Western powers rewarded their enemies and betrayed their smallest ally, the Assyrians. Now the West is reaping what they have sowed... NO OIL!
