The photo accompanying your story "Little progress in preventing foodborne ills" showed spinach. The main sources of foodborne illness, as listed later in the article, included oysters, eggs, meat, poultry -- not spinach or any other vegetable. The photo is therefore misleading to readers, and seizes on a formerly highly publicized exception to the rule that most food-borne illnesses stem from raw/undercooked meat and poultry - not vegetables!
