I’m already paying that!
Alaska first state to hit $4 a gallon gasoline: AAA
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Alaska hit a milestone on Wednesday that could be a sign of things to come around the United States this summer — it became the first state where the average price for regular gasoline reached $4 per gallon.
Aloha, the story I just read today requires correction. Your author has not researched his story very well. It currently costs $4.18/gal on Maui, with another 30 cents added for Lanai and Molokai. The last I heard, Hawaii was still a state.

This is wrong!!! I live in San Francisco, and we’ve had $4 gas for a year straight!

We heard from a number of motorists who said they have already paid more than $4 a gallon and accused us of not have done proper reporting. The operative phrase here is AVERAGE PRICE. We use it in the first sentence of the story, and hope readers will notice. Of course we are aware that there are spots where gasoline has already gone over $4 a gallon: GBU Editor

I love your web site. I think it is better than CNN. And I like the fact that you have the Oddly Enough Section. CNN puts a lot of goofy stuff in the regular news section to dummy down the population.
