Blood test may detect lung cancer in early stages
The two-year survival rate is only about 15 percent mainly because the disease, which kills 1.3 people globally a year, is often diagnosed in advanced stages.
You say 1.3 people die from lung cancer each year. I suspect the number is much higher (maybe 1.3 “million”?).
