Wisconsin Senate passes public-sector union ban
Madison, Wis., March 9 (Reuters) – Republicans in the Wisconsin Senate on Wednesday side-stepped a boycott by opposition Democrats and approved curbs on union powers in a case closely watched by Americans as a test of labor rights.
Your article published March 9 is titled “Wisconsin Senate passes public-sector union ban.”
The whole headline is a lie. The bill from Wisconsin Governor Walker does not ban one public sector union.
If you can prove it please let the world know because that would be news.
That was a bad headline. We improved it in subsequent updates: GBU Editor

– Work with your siblings to help Mom. Unlike your child, your aging parent doesn’t have to live with you to qualify as a dependent. If she is in a nursing home or assisted living facility and you provide more than half of her support, she’s a dependent. You don’t even have to do it all by yourself — all of the money that you and your siblings put in together can be counted as one.
This is incorrect, in that your child does NOT have to live with you to qualify as a dependent.

“The issue now is cleanup because we have tons and tons of dead fish rotting and purifying, which obviously creates hazardous material,” Keenan said.
They’re PUTREFYING, not PURIFYING. The ‘t’ makes an enormous difference. Otherwise a good story.
Air Canada flies lesser passengers in Feb
I think the correct word is ‘fewer’ not ‘lesser’ in the headline. Better editing please.
Yikes! We corrected, of course: GBU Editor

Alberta ranked as world’s top mining jurisdiction
Miners saw the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Nevada and Saskatchewan as jurisdictions with the most appealing mining policies, but Quebec and Manitoba also made it into the top 10.
Nevada is a province of Canada? Really? This is great news! Finally somewhere I can go to escape winter that is still Canadian territory.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” movie star Jane Russell, who became a controversial Hollywood sex symbol, died on Monday at the age of 89, her family said.
I was very disturbed at the title “Buxom actress Jane Russell dead at 89″ for your news article about her death today.

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth offered her sympathy for the former British colony and said in a statement she was “utterly shocked.”
There is an error with the sentence “Britain’s Queen Elizabeth offered her sympathy for the former British colony…”.

Ride the royal bus tour of Kate Middleton’s life
News that Britain’s royal wedding invites are in the post has touched off lively press speculation, with former England soccer captain David Beckham and the King of Bahrain tipped to be attending but not U.S. President Barack Obama or William’s aunt, Sarah Ferguson.
Will you please tell your journalists that “invite” is never used as a noun! The word is invitation. They sound like hillbillies.
