Zsa Zsa Gabor smiling after surgery, husband says

gbu gabor 300LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Zsa Zsa Gabor smiled and ate ice cream on Saturday, a day after doctors amputated much of the actress’ leg to fight a gangrene infection that could have killer her, her husband said.

PLEASE, WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, WITH ALL THIS TECHNOLOGY AND AN ENGLISH DICTIONARY ON HAND, YOU’D THINK THE AUTHOR OF THIS PIECE COULD DO SPELL CHECK. PERHAPS HE SHOULD EVEN RETURN TO GRAMMAR SCHOOL.

IT ANNOYS ME WHEN I AM MORE SHOCKED BY THE WAY AN ARTICLE IS WRITTEN RATHER THAN BY THE CONTENTS.

S.F.G.

I’m sorry about the typo. Clearly, we meant killed instead of killer, and we fixed it. But was it really worth an all-caps shouting rant? GBU Editor

Major winter storm wallops Northeast

USA/The National Weather Service reported snow on the ground in 49 of the 50 states — only Florida was spared — and much of the South was still battling icy conditions that made roads dangerous and led to several traffic deaths.

I read this article and my question is, if there are 50 states 48 should have snow not 49? Unless there is snow in Hawaii too.

“Giffords’ brain benefits from benign route of bullet” — so she should be happy?!

God was behind Big Bang, universe no accident: Pope

ITALY-GALILEO/VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – God’s mind was behind complex scientific theories such as the Big Bang, and Christians should reject the idea that the universe came into being by accident, Pope Benedict said on Thursday.

Benedict and his predecessor John Paul have been trying to shed the Church’s image of being anti-science, a label that stuck when it condemned Galileo for teaching that the earth revolves around the sun, challenging the words of the Bible.

Michelle Williams still asks why Heath Ledger died

LEISURE CANDY PREMIEREThe 30 year-old actress, whose romance with Ledger blossomed on the set of “Brokeback Mountain” in roles for which they both received Oscar nominations (he won supporting actor), said she had found “meaning in things and people and relationships that have sprung up and friendships that have strengthened.

You should correct the misstatement of facts in this article.

Heath Ledger did NOT win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Brokeback Mountain, he didn’t win anything at all, though many of us believe he should have. He was nominated in the Best Actor category but did not win.
