Fighter jets intercept third plane near Camp David WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Fighter jets intercepted a private plane near Camp David on Sunday, the third civilian plane this weekend to fly the restricted air space while President Barack Obama was at the Maryland retreat.

Two of the intercepts were performed by United States Coast Guard HH-65 ‘Dolphin’ helicopters under NORAD jurisdiction. Helicopters are not fighter jets.
According to our information, there was one intercept on July 10, there were two on July 9th, one on July 2 and two on June 11th. All involved fighters jets: GBU Editor
