WikiLeaks founder Assange slams Swiss banker arrest
He said Switzerland was not the only country involved in the offshore banking structures that were depriving tax authorities worldwide of some $22 billion.
In German, a “billion” is what is typically called a “trillion” in English.
Wikipedia puts tax evasion at $345 billion in the U.S. alone.
It is, to say the least, unrealistic that worldwide tax evasion amounts to only $22 billion.
Indeed. We corrected it to change the figure to $22 trillion: GBU Editor

“I’ve jumped out of a plane. I’ve walked over coals, repelled down a mountain. And I’m afraid of scales,” Fisher said.
Giuliani ponders 2010 presidential run
I didn’t know that 2010 is in the future and that there will be a US presidential election then.
The headline with the wrong year was up for several hours before we fixed it.
We should have filed a correction as well, but we didn’t: GBU Editor

Hillary wants a break, but maybe just a little one
ABC’s Good Morning America asked how’s she’s doing on The Grandmother Front. She prefaced her reply with peels of laughter: “I will only get in trouble, however I respond to that. But let me just say I love babies, and so maybe I’ll have more in my life some day.”
Not a question, but an edit. Your article online today about Hillary Clinton possibly taking a break and prospects of becoming a grandmother, notes that she replied with ‘peels of laughter.’

Michelle Williams still asks why Heath Ledger died
The 30 year-old actress, whose romance with Ledger blossomed on the set of “Brokeback Mountain” in roles for which they both received Oscar nominations (he won supporting actor), said she had found “meaning in things and people and relationships that have sprung up and friendships that have strengthened.
You should correct the misstatement of facts in this article.
Heath Ledger did NOT win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Brokeback Mountain, he didn’t win anything at all, though many of us believe he should have. He was nominated in the Best Actor category but did not win.
Could you please correct the picture posted with this article?
