School scrambles to retrieve prizes with racy images
TALLAHASSEE, Fla, Oct 19 (Reuters) – School administrators hoping to reward students for their A+ fund-raising efforts at a Florida elementary school unwittingly gave them X-rated gifts, officials said.
School officials at Jay Elementary School in the Panhandle on Wednesday were trying to collect more than 100 bracelets distributed to students involved in a fund-raising drive after pictures of naked women were found hidden beneath the bracelets’ cloth coverings.
This law firm represents the company that is the subject of referenced story, “Florida school scrambles to retrieve prizes with racy images”.
This story incorrectly reports that the images in the bracelets were “x-rated” and of “naked women” and “partially clothed and nude women”, whereas, in fact, the images were of women in bikinis.
I take exception to the title of your article on Facebook and brain size.
This is absolutely what is wrong with journalism today. More Facebook friends is absolutely NOT linked to the size of the brain but to certain regions within the brain, as correctly pointed out on his article.
Many people are linking through Yahoo to a photo you’re running of someone in boots walking on the US flag in Zuccotti Square.
It’s a hackneyed cliche, of course, that protestors hate their country. In this case, the photo seems to have been faked. I am not a Photoshop expert, but the light looks wrong, the edges look wrong, the shadows under the boots seem wrong.
It’s extremely disturbing when I come here for news and I find articles like this being promoted here. I left CNN (for the most part) and came to Reuters because I believe you are a better source for news. I strongly believe you are less biased, less opinionated, and just an overall better news source.
However, when I find posts like the one, it makes me question my decision. Promoting, and allowing, any opinionated rant claiming people are better based on their race or gender (in this case gender) is disgusting to see.
Then Saudi Arabian Foreign Policy Advisor Adel-Al-Jubeir gestures during a press conference in response to U.S. engineer Paul Marshal Johnson’s beheading at the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Washington, in this June 18, 2004 file photo.
Wow! I must’ve missed the video footage of the beheading at the Embassy.
Man, that’s poorly worded!
Sigh. Yes, that’s a sentence sorely in need of some editing: GBU Editor

Americans seethe as banks hit them with new fees
“That I’m supposed to pay (Bank of America) money while they fire people so that they can make more money even though they are already richer that Croesus just offends me,” said Jim Brown, a federal government worker and Bank of America customer, referring to the wealthy king of Greek mythology.
The statement that Croesus was a wealthy king of Greek mythology is wrong.
Croesus was Roman and not mythological. He was a part of the First Triumvirate with Caesar and Pompey.
You mean HALTS, not ” haults ” !
This opens you up to ridicule…….for shame Reuters !

Thousands attend funeral of executed convict Troy Davis At the end of the service, loudspeakers relayed an audio message from Davis recorded before his death in which he thanked his supporters and asked them to continue a campaign against the death penalty.
Recorded “before his death” ?
Yes, I suspect that last bit of information was fairly self-evident: GBU Editor
