Funeral planning: How to avoid paying beyond the grave

Take the time to really think through what kind of funeral you think you want. “People can have their funerals anywhere, not necessarily a church or funeral house,” says Erika Dillman, author of “The Party of Your Life.” There are also green burials, where you can be buried in a shroud or a biodegradable casket.

Hello, I’m writing because I was quoted in an article on this site, and the quote is incorrect and the link from the title of my book is also incorrect.

I said “funeral home” not “funeral house” and the link from the title of my book should go to my actual site (it now goes to an unrelated company with the same name)….my link is here.

I would greatly appreciate it if these small issues could be corrected. Thanks

Family sues police over California Taser death

LOS ANGELES, Sept 1 (Reuters) – The parents of a Southern California man who accuse police of killing their son with a Taser after he honked at a patrol car have sued the sheriff’s department and county.

This headline is misleading. A cause of death hasn’t been determined and to simply infer that the use of one police tool is to blame for this man’s death is irresponsible as there are no facts to support that causal relationship.

Try to be responsible with headlines. Drop the drama. This only reinforces media stereotypes.

I’m the father of Alexandra Peltre, who survived the attack on Utoeya, Norway. The information given by the journalist in this report is not correct!

She did not hide in a wardrobe after being shot, and she never said anything about a wardrobe when she was interviewed.
