Dara Torres faces “long road ahead” after knee surgery
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Five-times Olympian Dara Torres was “doing fine” after radical knee surgery but was still uncertain if she will compete at the 2012 London Games.
“It’s a long road ahead of me but I’m glad I finally got the operation over with,” the 42-year-old told Reuters Thursday in a telephone interview from her Boston hospital bed.
Correct grammer would be Chiicago WAS eliminated. The grammer in the headline is also atrocious: “Chicago go out…” What does that mean?

The author states that London Fletcher is a two time Pro Bowler. In fact, he has been an eight time alternate while never actually having been elected or sent to the Pro Bowl.
I am not sure where the author got this information, possibly Wikipedia as it lists this incorrect information as well.

South Africa threatens “3rd world war” over Semenya
KLEINMOND, South Africa (Reuters) – South Africa reacted angrily on Friday to a report that tests on its world champion runner Caster Semenya had found she was a hermaphrodite, threatening a “third world war” over the affair.
“I think it would be the third world war. We will go to the highest levels in contesting such a decision. I think it would be totally unfair and totally unjust,” said Sports Minister Makhenkesi Stofile.

Either this reference lacks honesty or accuracy, or you’ve missed the real story, which is how does he look so good after such a long period of practice?
