Let's just nuke em both and end the dispute. Obviously I was kidding though.

Sad to see things like this. Even sadder knowing it will more than likely continue for aeons.

If we dont live here the arabs will, she said. And rightfully so, the Arabs should return to their homes and land that has been taken away from them. And the occupier should find another place to settle in and coexist.

Yes Mr. MacDonald, incidents such as you describe are grim and tragic, but for me at least it is hardly shocking. This has been happening for a very long time now. The thing is that, as you saw for yourselves, even the Israeli army and government functions and agencies are exceedingly lenient towards settlers who are day after day encroaching illegally on land, pushing the Palestinians out, without prosecuting them even when it gets to actual assault. The settlers of course are encouraged by the apathetic approach of the Israeli government to these incidents and simply continue, because they know that if it happened the other way around and the Palestinians try to fight back the soldiers would take harsher measures. The injustice and cruelty is sickening. How do people think Hamas won a popular vote? It is because of incidents like this. The Palestinians' rights as human beings and citizens must be recognized and protected, or this will only continue to get worse.
