Despite those who ridicule religion as weak minded, their loathing goes much deeper given they are consumed with a need to ridicule something they call nonsense or impotent. It is interesting that this Cardinal takes this position. Perhaps it may help offset the shameful lack of support from D.C. {that district of corruption where good is called evil and debt is deemed desirable}. Regardless my Bible says "by their fruit you shall know them" and "then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free"! Honduras has a 60% literacy rate. That's abysmal, not to mention, incredibly irresponsible. Hondurans are going to have to wake up and realize 'ain't no Jesus gonna come from the sky' and as long as they ignore their real problems and continue to appeal to supernatural nonsense, that's how long they're going to be oppressed and exploited by their government.
