Comments on: How do you solve a political crisis? Hondurans try prayer Beyond the World news headlines Wed, 16 Nov 2016 20:09:42 +0000 hourly 1 By: cesar Wed, 05 Aug 2009 04:19:43 +0000 We are the soldiers of God and only we are the ones who will have to defeat these mafia guys who´ve had had control over honduras for decades and now that a man brave enough to not submit himself to the orders of these criminals, these mafia guys are willing to kill to keep control of our country, please God don´t let these cowards get away with this, because I know that I rather die than to let these thugs continue to commit terror acts on our national soil.

Despite those who ridicule religion as weak minded, their
loathing goes much deeper given they are consumed with a need to ridicule something they call nonsense or impotent.

It is interesting that this Cardinal takes this position.

Although I’m not Catholic, I remember discussion from Rome on “liberation theology” which is really marxisim. atzinger/liberationtheol.htm

Whether the Cardinal’s support will attract other religious groups is yet to be determined. Perhaps it may help offset the shameful lack of support from D.C. {that district of corruption where good is called evil and debt is deemed desirable}. Regardless my Bible says “by their fruit you shall know them” and “then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free”! GOD BLESS Honduras

By: Good Reason News Wed, 29 Jul 2009 07:27:06 +0000 You know, I’ve noticed that it’s usually the least educated parts of the world that make appeals to gods and other magical beings.

Honduras has a 60% literacy rate. That’s abysmal, not to mention, incredibly irresponsible. Hondurans are going to have to wake up and realize ‘ain’t no Jesus gonna come from the sky’ and as long as they ignore their real problems and continue to appeal to supernatural nonsense, that’s how long they’re going to be oppressed and exploited by their government.
