And to mohammedsadevil, Tunisia, Algeria, Morroco, Lybia, and in particular Egypt were also part of the Roman empire. I guess that makes them part of Europe aswell.

I could understand that you dont like Muslims for personal reasons, but I would bet money on that the god muhammed professed is the same one you believe in, just looking at the same idea from a different angle. Do not expect to be tolerated if you don’t respect other cultures.

Israel in the EU, are you nuts?? Let’s take Turkey, Bellarus and Kasachstan in aswell. But next time Italy should pay for the bailouts.
And as to Israel, if they were EU member that could put Europe in any future war with the middle east. Then we would have to go and fight there, that would cause social and political instability that could tear the EU apart.

Is this a joke? Since when has Isreal been part of anything other than the middle east (Geographically speaking). Will it amend it’s human rights abuses? Will it sign up to the NNPT? Will it stop thumbing it’s nose at the world?
