If the headquaters of Nokia or Apple in their motherland ignor their branches in China, there will expectedly be much more troubles there awaiting. Less good faith is common in current China which was known by almost everyone.

Chinese products are too cheap, and so are Chinese workers. Too cheaply bought by Western consumers, and too cheaply thrown away by Chinese factory managers.

It’s about time for China to revalue their currency again, as well as revaluing their workers through possible revision of their laws.

So why isn’t the Chinese government prosecuting Wintek? If China won’t enforce its own laws, what is Apple to do? Apple could do its own inspections: only to have the plants clean up in time for the tours. It’s not like Apple can demand the Chinese improve – look what China did to Google!
