Not so fast Luke,
Have notice how retisent the US, Fance, And Germany are in advising Greece to syspend expensive purchases with kickbacks of F16/F18's, six frigates, and four subs?

If we were to follow advice drawn from professor Mark Mazower's book on the Inter War Period in Greece, the country ought to follow Argentina and suspend all foreign debt repayments until further notice while making new arrangments with the opposite camp:Russia, China, Venezuela, Iran, and so on.

What is there to loose?
Unless of course the US and selected other 'friend and close allies' - the usual supects, would oblige with arranging a convenient 'little' conflict, over the 'Grey Aegean' which is is going begging to let it 'happen', practically on a daily basis among the NATO brothers Greece and Turkey. What a phillip that could be for all in a time of so many little criseis.

This is precisely the sort of trenchant analysis lacking in so many other blogs on this site. Well done. Having spent the last thirty-five years in the financial markets, the remark about playground-bullying rang especially true. Drive on.
