A country whose nutjob dictator makes his living off of nuclear blackmail is a cancer that needs to be isolated as completely as possible. This is so horrible but a puppet gpvernment, resources for a four million Army...No way...They must in-house, take care of their abuse....b

As a Chinese guy ,I think China is maybe the only friend of N.Korea now. Every Chinese is strongly object to N.Korea having nuclear weapons or even war in the Korean Peninsula. But historically, as a country which suffered the extreme socailism which means famine? mad of a single person?tens of millions of death?we can partly understand the theroy of N.Korea's concept of governance.

Their policy comes from arrogant?close?nationalism?exttreme socialism and deeply fear. But I have to say, all these bad things come from old China of Mao's age and the former Soviet Union .

I totally agree that Chinese goverment should help N.Korea's people out of hunger and disease and persuade their government to throw away the bad theory. I think our goverment is doing so. I hope the international society can do as more as you can to help the evil government in your eyes and understand their policy if possible, and at last , no war please. N.Korea is not Libya ,it's more like Vietnem or Afghanistan ,you will be sure in a swamp and maybe even worse(because they have nuclear weapons).

So, do more kind things, as a Chinese ,I promise ,they will be touched.

North Korea and it's starving people: Two points should be made here. North Korean has the ability to feed its people! If the North Korean government has enough money to build nuclear weapons and maintain a four million man army, then it has enough money to feed its own people, if it chooses to do so.

However, the North Korean government chooses to be a military state, antagonistic to its own neighbors and then has the audacity to ask for assistance.

Secondly, North Korea has long been a Chinese puppet state (60+ years). North Korea has been over-the-line for years, violating international standards as well as being a nuclear provocateur. All of this with China's blessing and quiet assistance.

The same situation applies to Pakistan. China uses them to provoke and side-track India while they build up their own manufacturing and economic might.

Yes, we are all responsible for not allowing any of the world's children to go hungry. However, in the case of North Korea being the puppet of China, and China being one of the richest country in the world, it is time they stepped up to the plate and do the right thing. They can afford to feed every man, woman and child in North Korea and they should do so.

Simultaneously, China can also persuade North Korea to use their resources to feed their own people instead of being a global military threat.

No treatment? I can think of one: the complete dismantling of what is possibly the most evil regime on the planet. A country whose nutjob dictator makes his living off of nuclear blackmail is a cancer that needs to be isolated as completely as possible. Yeah, its a tragedy that their killing their inmates, err, *citizens* with starvation and political murder. A shame that the commies turned against their allies in the West as soon as our mutual Axis enemies were defeated. A shame that so many people don't understand that sometimes the only road to salvation is through great loss and suffering..and unfortunately N Korea needs to get worse before it can ever get better. No more aid of any kind, PERIOD, until they allow unfettered IAEA inspections and agree to unconditional security discussions with the south.
