Well good for the Turks! Looks like they were/are in the right place in the right time! But I think the Current Account Deficit (CAD) relief cited in the article is temporary. Iranians are not going to buy gold from Turkey forever. Turkey needs to make some changes to sustain the CAD below 8% of GDP. There are some attempts to curb the level of imports but the country seems to have a big appetite for import of luxury consumer goods.</description>
