Do you like the Commonwealth Games theme song?
Oscar winning Indian composer A.R. Rahman on Saturday launched the theme song for Commonwealth Games 2010, which will be held in Delhi October 3-14.

Rahman, who performed the song titled “Jiyo, Utho, Bado, Jeeto” to a cheering crowd, said he hoped “people like it and it becomes the spirit of whole Commonwealth Games.”

It’s not Rahman’s best effort but am sure it will grow on listeners soon. Surely not as cheesy as the other Delhi song being played out on TV.
With all due respect…… CWG has already created a bad impression in the mind amongst us. as the saying goes anything associated with it becomes even worse….. which may be the reason why the song didn’t click.
