Ms. Bedi's illustrious efforts towards reforms and bringing a difference are unmatchable. As a young IAS officer I look upto dynamic personalities like her for contributing my little towards Indis's development. However the position of women cant be made better by means of legal or educational reforms only. The mindset of society needs an overhaul for treating her an equal counterpart. Women need to be given what has been long overdue..

Kiran Bedi is an ideal leader. A woman can learn a lot from her. I personally like her TV serials like AAP KI KACHAHARI
in which she solves problems of Indian women.
Thankyou.

I have always felt strongly that most of our problems as individuals and as a nation would disappear if we have only one trait- Accountability. I am very happy and feel honored that people like Dr. Kiran Bedi feel the same. How I wish she can pull it through the country ! The scene looks hopeful- a better tomorrow :)

Kudos to Kiran ! Very honest observations. Just one point to add about workplace harassment -unless the public perception of women who point out such wrongdoers change, all the helpdesks and action teams that are set up will never make a difference. In India, it is still an unwritten rule that a woman who points a finger of harassment against a colleague will have to look for somewhere else to work. Because henceforth she will be branded as "that woman", and not in an appreciative sense of the term.
